Business & Partner Support

Real expertise. Real recovery experience. Built to make a difference.

The Gambling Recovery Hub is a free service — and keeping it that way takes more than goodwill. Through Empowered Recovery Solutions, we offer specialist services to organisations and businesses that want to make a genuine difference to people affected by gambling harm. Every penny of income feeds directly back into the Hub.

This isn’t theoretical. We’ve been in the room.

The team behind the Gambling Recovery Hub brings over 40 years of combined lived recovery experience and nearly two decades working directly in the recovery industry. We’ve assessed thousands of individuals, helped people who weren’t ready for treatment find a path toward it, and supported organisations that needed to understand what gambling harm actually looks like from the inside.

We know the difference between someone who’s engaging with their recovery and someone who’s going through the motions. We know what genuine early intervention looks like, and we know what gets in the way. That knowledge is what we bring to every piece of work we do.

Services for organisations and individuals

We work with two different audiences. Select below to see what’s relevant to you.

Whether you’re a treatment provider, a gambling operator with social responsibility obligations, an employer, or a referral service — we offer specialist support that plugs genuine gaps in the current landscape.

📋

Client Assessments

Detailed, experienced assessments to understand where a client actually is in relation to their gambling — not just what they’re willing to say in a standard intake process. We know how to read what’s beneath the surface.

🚪

Pre-Treatment Preparation

For ambivalent clients who aren’t yet ready for formal treatment. We meet them where they are, reduce anxiety around what treatment involves, and help them take the next step with more confidence — which means better outcomes on the other side.

🔁

Referral Partnerships

We accept referrals from gambling operators, counsellors, therapy services, and social care teams. Whether it’s early intervention, pre-treatment, or aftercare — we’ll work with you to ensure the right people get the right support at the right time.

🎓

Staff Training & Workshops

Bespoke sessions for frontline staff, HR teams, and management — helping your people recognise the signs of gambling harm, respond appropriately, and refer with confidence. Delivered with the kind of authenticity that only lived experience brings.

🎤

Speaking Engagements

Keynotes, panel contributions, and conference talks on gambling addiction, recovery, and the realities of what harm looks like from inside it. Tailored to your audience — whether that’s staff, stakeholders, or the public.

🤝

Strategic Partnerships

Looking for a credible, community-rooted organisation to collaborate with on a project, campaign, or initiative around gambling harm? We’re open to meaningful partnerships that genuinely serve people in recovery — not just partnerships that look good on paper.

Through Empowered Recovery Solutions, we offer specialist one-to-one support for individuals at key points in their recovery journey — particularly when the free services available don’t quite fit the situation.

🧭

Pre-Treatment Support Sessions

Not everyone is ready to walk through the door of a treatment service. These sessions are for people who are considering it but need to work through their fears, doubts, or ambivalence first. No pressure, no agenda — just an honest conversation with someone who’s been there.

🛡️

Relapse Prevention Planning

Building a real, workable plan around your specific triggers, patterns, and vulnerabilities. Not a generic worksheet — a genuine piece of thinking done with you, for your situation.

🌱

Aftercare & Sustained Recovery Support

Leaving treatment is a vulnerable moment. Ongoing support during the weeks and months after formal treatment ends significantly improves long-term recovery outcomes. We provide that continuity.

Why our model matters — and what it means for you.

Working with us isn’t just a commercial transaction. The Gambling Recovery Hub is a registered Community Interest Company — company number 16155766 — which means we’re legally required to operate in the community’s interest. Any surplus income is reinvested directly into the Hub’s free services.

What this means in practice

When your organisation engages our services, you’re directly funding the free support that the Gambling Recovery Hub provides to people in early recovery. We’re not a large charity with layers of administration — your investment reaches people quickly, through services that work, delivered by people with lived experience. That’s a genuinely different kind of partnership.

“We built the support we wished had existed for us — and we opened the doors to everyone. The work with organisations is what keeps those doors open.”
