Welcome to the forums, a space designed to support recovery through honest, respectful, and meaningful conversation. To help maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone, we ask all members to follow the guidance below.
Please use mindful language and avoid sharing specific amounts of debt, wins, or losses. This helps keep the focus on recovery and reduces the risk of triggering others.
Please do not name gambling venues, websites, or apps. Keeping references general helps create a neutral environment that feels safer for everyone using the space.
Treat all members with kindness and respect. Every person’s journey is different, and we are here to support one another with understanding, compassion, and without judgment.

My Journal
This forum is for the real story of recovery. Although we are called Gambling Recovery Hub, we know that many people’s struggles are not limited to gambling alone. For some, alcohol or substances are also part of the picture. For others, the behaviour may involve things that are often dismissed as something else, such as crypto trading, auction sites, gaming-related spending, or other compulsive patterns that carry the same harm. This space is here for honest reflection on all of it.
It is not just for the achievements, the milestones, or the days when everything feels under control, but also for the bad days, the messy days, and the days when difficult thoughts, urges, or emotions creep back in. Those days matter, because they often teach us the most. Journalling gives us the chance to look back, understand what was happening, learn from patterns and triggers, and use that insight to keep moving forward. Recovery is not about pretending everything is fine. It is about being honest enough to learn from every part of the process.

Recovery Tools
Recovery takes more than good intentions. It takes tools. This forum is a place to share what actually helps, whether that is managing urges, handling money differently, staying accountable, changing routines, or finding healthier ways to cope. Some tools are practical, some are emotional, but all of them matter.

New Features
This forum is a place to suggest ideas, improvements, and new features for the website. That might include practical tools, new sections, better ways to connect, or anything else that could make this community more helpful in recovery. The people using a space often know best what is missing, what works, and what could work better. Good communities do not stand still. They listen, adapt, and keep improving. This forum is here to make sure those ideas have a place and to help shape what comes next.
