Practical Support for Real People in Recovery
We don’t offer a single solution — because recovery isn’t one size fits all. Here’s what we provide to help you find your way forward.
A range of support — free, accessible, and built around you.
Everything we offer at the Gambling Recovery Hub is designed around one idea: meeting people where they are. Some people arrive ready to talk. Others need to read and think first. Some want to connect with a group; others prefer to work through things quietly on their own. We’ve built our services to cover all of those starting points.
And all of our core services are free. Because cost should never be the reason someone doesn’t get help.
Community Forums
A safe, moderated online space to share your experience, ask questions, and connect with others who truly understand. No judgement — just people helping people.
Online Group Sessions
Live video group sessions led by people in recovery. A chance to talk, listen, and feel less alone — from wherever you are, at a time that works for you.
E-Learning Courses
Self-paced courses covering the psychology of addiction, understanding your triggers, early recovery, and building a life without gambling. Learn in your own time, at your own speed.
E-Books
Practical, plain-language guides written from lived experience. Whether you’re just starting to question your gambling or deep into recovery, there’s something here for you.
WhatsApp Support
Sometimes you need to reach out quickly. Our WhatsApp channel means support isn’t limited to office hours — it’s there when you actually need it.
Pre-Treatment Planning
Not sure if you need treatment, or what your options are? We help you understand where you are, what’s available, and how to take the next step — without any pressure.
A growing library of honest, practical content.
Beyond our direct support services, we’ve built an extensive library of articles, guides, and self-assessment tools — all written from real experience, not theory. These cover the topics that people in recovery actually need to work through.
Topics covered in our content library include:
We help you find the right help — not just our help.
One of the most important things we do is point people in the right direction. We’re not here to be the only solution. If you need financial advice, treatment referrals, or specialist support, we’ll help you understand your options and who to talk to.
We have years of experience connecting people with the right services at the right time — whether that’s debt advice, residential treatment, NHS pathways, or peer support networks. We know the landscape, and we’ll help you navigate it without pressure or agenda.
The Hub is growing.
We’re continuously adding new resources, worksheets, courses, and group sessions. Everything is developed by people in recovery, for people in recovery — so it stays grounded in what actually helps. Watch this space.
Not sure where to begin?
That’s completely normal. Start with whatever feels manageable — a forum post, an article, or just a message. There’s no wrong way to take the first step.
