The Gambling Recovery Hub was created by individuals who have personally walked the road of gambling addiction — and found their way through it. With over 40 years of recovery between us, we built this community because we understand, from the inside, how isolating and confusing the early days of recovery can feel.
We’re not here to lecture. We’re not here to judge. We’ve sat where you’re sitting. We’ve felt the shame, the secrecy, and the exhaustion — and we’ve also discovered that things genuinely can get better.

Our experience spans years of direct recovery support work — assessing individuals, helping people understand their situation honestly, and connecting them with the right services at the right time. We’ve worked with thousands of people across gambling, gaming, and cryptocurrency addiction, and we’ve seen how powerful the right kind of support can be.

The Gambling Recovery Hub is made up of individuals who have lived experience of addiction and recovery. We’re not a team of external specialists observing from a distance. We’re in the community ourselves, still doing the work, still learning — and sharing everything we’ve picked up along the way.
Over the years, our team has worked in recovery assessment, pre-treatment support, and direct one-to-one guidance. We know how to help someone figure out whether they have a problem. We know how to help someone who isn’t yet ready to call it a problem. And we know how to support someone who’s ready to make a change but doesn’t know where to start.
We also understand that reaching out isn’t always the first step — sometimes it’s reading, watching, or just quietly knowing somewhere like this exists. That’s fine too. We’ll be here when you’re ready.
A Community Interest Company — run for people, not profit.
The Gambling Recovery Hub is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), company number 16155766. That means we’re legally structured to serve our community — not shareholders. Every penny of surplus income is reinvested back into the Hub to fund better services and wider reach.
We operate as a non-profit because we believe recovery support should never be about money. It should be about people.
